All About THC

THC is something that you probably heard about because of the effects it gives you when you smoke weed. However, this is something that offers a lot of benefits, and this is something that is one of the most prevalent cannabinoids out there. While it isn’t seen in hemp plants sometimes, this is something that is still really potent, and s responsible for the sensation of feeling high, and is why it’s not legal in a lot of places.

Typically, the properties of this are usually used for recreational reasons, but this is something that also has medicinal benefits too, and this works together with CBD in order to create what’s called the entourage effect, which is synergy between the flavonoids, cannabinoids, and terpenes, which help to modulate and control the different properties of this. There are also therapeutic benefits of THC that are studied, and something that will help with the extensive knowledge, e and is something that offers plenty of vital reactions and functions to this, making It systematic to study.

Synthesis

This is something that works with the cannabinoids in the body and their receptors.  This works with the terpene phenols, which share similar compounds, which are called terpenes along with phenols. The origin of these cannabinoids is found through olivetolic acid, a phenol, and also a compound named geranyl pyrophosphate, which after it reacts with CBGA, it then creates the precursor to the chemical THC, and other chemicals too.

Tis was first found by Yechiel Gaoni and Dr. Raphael Mehoulan in Israel back in 1964. This was discovered in Lebanese Hash.  THCA is basically created from the THCA enzyme synthase along with CBGA, which is something that’s also found in CBCA, CBDA, and THCA, and this is basically converted through synthases, and then, it creates THCA.  When it’s heated up, it’s then turned into a not an acid, so it loses the A, and it loses that carboxyl attached to this, which is what gives it this psychoactive element. This is also found when certain temperatures are hit during some periods of time. this is also why when you smoke it, it make you feel high, but not when you say,, eat a piece of cannabis

There are also compounds called delta-8, which is basically a similar type of isomer to delta-9. It also has the same formula, but there is a small change to this in the positioning of this, especially in where the double bond occurs, and this means that it has certain kinds of other properties, especially psychoactive results.

Why does cannabis create THC though? Well, this is considered a means of defense against those that try to harm it, and also protects it from the UVB rays of the sun, and also protects itself from microbes, especially bacteria. It may also be used as well to protect itself from other fungi too, although the UVB and pest protection are the common reasons.

The UVB explanation is definitely a plausible one since it does grow well in places that get a ton of sun, and when it hits that high point, it does need some protection, so the trichomes will secret the substances needed.

It does cause a lot of different benefits to the body though. For example, it can help with altering the cerebral cortex and memory, help stimulate appetite, help with the brain stem and control vomiting and pain, and so much more. it also offers euphoric feelings as well, and it can be something that a lot of people do enjoy with this compound, and the benefits it has too.

Melatonin or Cannabis for Sleeping

This is something that a lot of people get told, to take a melatonin or two if they struggle with sleeping. I’s literally the sleep response to taking ibuprofen when you have pain, and it’s something that’s naturally ingrained in our minds. But did you know that it could possibly be beaten out by cannabis.  This is something that may hopefully induce sleep, but if you rely on this, it can put the bodily systems out of wack, with sleep issues coming from a lot of problems, especially since melatonin isn’t equipped to help with different problems, including the food you have, any blue light before bed, exercise, and then, any other issues during the day.

Cannabis is a way to naturally wind down as well, offering a more relaxed state. This is something that may offer a more organized, tailored approach that goes on with this as well.

How melatonin Works

Melatonin is something that we do produce naturally in our brain, which is responsible for our wake and sleep cycle, giving us the indication when its time to go to bed, and time to wake up. Melatonin vitamins and supplements pretty much help to reset the natural biological clock, and it’s used for a lot of people who are making long flights, and it helps them get used to the sleep schedule that they have.

They also are good for those who struggle with falling asleep, and it’s something that they believe is a good sleep aid for a lot of people. While it’s good to take these occasionally, long0term use may be a major regulator of the metabolism of someone, and it can actually cause issues with your insulin levels, especially after you eat.

How cannabis compares

When you compare these two, you should know that it’s not a replacement, but it’s a different way to get the right kind of sleep. With cannabis having a lot of different materials to help encourage sound and restful sleep, due to the CBD, THC, cannabinoids, terpenes inside of it, these are natural and work with the ECS to help with the issues that you have, including stress problems, inflammation, anxiety, and the like.

CBD is also something that has been thought of to be a sleep aid, but according to more anecdotal studies, it was found that it’s better if you have a little bit of THC with this. You can get CBD in different shops online or in person, and you can et something that contains or doesn’t’ contain THC.

The effects f this are reviewed in a study in 2007, and it was found that it does highlight, and it can be something that offers better sleep, rather than a more sedative, or hypnotic sleep. The terpenoids that are in there do relieve pain, help with anxiety, offer sedative results, and other supplements, including caryophyllene, myrcene, and linalool, which is something that offers synergy, and offers other effects too., While it is strictly observation, this is something that can be used to help with a bunch of sleep problems, including tinctures, inhalers, so much more.

If you want to make your sleep a little more balanced and want to try something which may offer the sleep effects that you’re going for with this, then you’ll definitely be glad to know that cannabis does offer all of this and so much more. Melatonin is good, but cannabis does offer a great solution for those who suffer from sleep issues providing real solutions that you might want to look into for your own needs.

Is CBD Safe for kids?

Some children have conditions and they may wonder if CBD is safe for them to use. Here, we’ll go over whether it’s safe for children to use, and some of the conditions surrounding this as well.

CBD for Kids

There are a few reasons for people to consider using CBD to help kids.  There are some studies that have looked at this. First and foremost, anxiety is something that does have CBD as a possible way to treat the condition.  There is some studies that noticed that if you do take CBD to help with this, do be mindful of other treatments as well.

Right now, there is some research that says that anxiety can be treated with this, but the ADHD research for CBD is very sparse, and it’s not conclusive. Right now, there is no major difference between those who used it, and those who did not. However, for epilepsy, it does help, and it can help possibly improve some of the treatment—resisting conditions, and it can definitely improve a lot of this.  There were some results which did show that there was a difference between those who had CBD and those who don’t, and it also did have less adverse results as well.

So is it Safe for Kids?

This is something that we can’t totally answer, simply because of the lack of research related to CBD. On the outside, it seems safe enough, in that it has a good safety profile for a child, and even the WHO does say that it does have minimal risk factors in this. However, there is some research which came out recently that noticed that CBD does have a link directly to an enzyme count that’s higher within the liver, and this is preliminary research, and was conducted on some of animal subjects rather than actually on human people that participated in this.

It’s something that doesn’t really have a human base to it, but it’s still something to be a little bit cautious about. However, but also keep in mind that it is random in the way that it’s used, and it’s best if you stay cautious of this, since this is something that’s still being studied. It’s best to ensure that there isn’t any breastfeeding occurring if you take this, and if you’re pregnant you should also not worry all that much about taking this, since it can impact the child.

You also should not give this to infants and babies, since there are effects which are unknown in this. However, there are some CBD medications that are actually safe for kids to use.  Epidolex, which is CBD-based, is authorized in many countries to help with the treatment of different epilepsy conditions, especially if the child is drug-resistant in their condition itself.

So there might be a few instances where you can use this for the treatment of their condition, but it’s best if you do discuss this with a doctor before you jump into using this. They can help you figure out the right thing to use, and from there, you can always try it as well to see if there is anything else which might help.

While CBD is something tons of adults absolutely love, there are a lot of concerns about giving it to kids, simply because there isn’t a ton of information on this. It’s very important that for those who do use CBD for kids tat they do the research necessary, and also to look at some of the other aspects that go along with this as well.

Cancer and Cannabis

Since it’s been legalized in many places, many have found that it’s helpful not just for lowering the symptoms, but also is good for making cancer less sever in a lot of people. This is especially true in those who are getting radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

Cannabis is medicinal since it offers active compounds within this, binding to various receptors, and is used in medicine, especially ayurvedic medicine in order to treat different infections, gastrointestinal, neurological, and respiratory conditions. It’s been used to treat hundreds of various conditions, and it’s something that many are still dying to this day, to get the full potential of this.

Can all types Benefit from This

Some of these different cancers affect different functions and organs. Cancer is basically the sudden growing at a rate that’s not controllable, spreading everywhere, and is mostly changed by the genes in the body, so many believe it’s genetic in cause, and it can cause these functions.

You can manage all variants of cancer with this, since it works in the same way, and it can help with pain that’s chronic, tiredness and fatigue, weight loss, and other symptoms which are debilitating, since it can be something that helps target these problems.

How it helps

There are some people who have studied the effects of this and have especially found that it’s very helpful in reducing vomiting along with nausea, and this is something a lot of patients undergoing treatment for cancer deal with.

Cannabis that’s vaporized or smoked is great for neuropathic pain, and also other pain that’s created from this condition. Some studies have also found that the patients who use cannabis usually need far less medication to reduce the pain in the body.

Lots of people do use this especially for vomiting and nausea, one of the most common side effects of chemotherapy. It also can make it very hard for someone to eat when they get this.  When you vomit or suffer from nausea too much, you then lose weight and become weaker as a result, and it can make your body much more susceptible to various infections and may cause malnutrition if not properly managed.

Cannabis is great for controlling vomiting and nausea, helping with appetite, improving the quality of life, and also will help with activating your CB1 receptors, and can effectively and easily manage the vomiting and nausea that goes on there.

Cannabis and pain relief

Cancer is something that can cause pain that’s debilitating, even excruciating, and it can affect how they sleep, how they eat, and can create anxiety and stress. Some people take pain relievers to help, and it can cause addiction and sometimes overdose in some cases. Marijuana is something that’s great for relieving pain, since it’s simple to use, and doesn’t cause a ton of side effects.

It does work directly with the pain receptors, helping to improve communication, and also helps with transmitting the messages that are there. It also connects directly with those cannabinoid receptors, blocking the neurotransmitters that are creating that pain sensation, reducing how much of an effect it is.  This also helps as well with anxiety and inflammation and is also really good as well since it’s a natural antioxidant that helps with preventing oxidation within the body.

While there are other pain management treatments, they have side effects that can be bad. Marijuana is much safer, and it can help with this, so if you have cancer, you may want to consider using this to help with reducing pain, nausea, anxiety, inflammation, and is better for managing chemotherapy and the side effects.
