Nice Weather
The weather has been gorgeous the last couple of days and I decided to drive out to the ranch. I figured things would be in complete disarray without me there to hold the fort. To my surprise, everyone seemed to be managing just fine. The hunters were hunting, the plugging rigs were plugging, the windmills were spinning, the fence builders were building fence, and Cattle Baron's herd was munching away at the prairie. No one had missed me all. Except maybe Pedro.

OMGosh! No offence but the last place I would want to pound posts in the ground for a fence is your famlies ranch...how to tell where anything is? Infrastructure all over the place...BTW what a neat hunting platform!
We do a one call. (DIG TESS) It's the law that companies have to mark the lines if you give notice. Of course, they don't always do it and we end up dragging some up. Once we pulled up about 80 feet of fiber optic line - but since we made the phone call and the company didn't mark it - we were indemnified. That's the law - you do the one call and then if you hit something you aren't responsible. You don't do the One Call - then you pay the damages.
