Can you believe that El Paso E&P and ExxonMobil got an injunction against me claiming, "Untrained individuals on an oil and gas lease present an imminent danger."? Really, they just didn't like me filming their operation. So, the landowner and his wife are enjoined from going on parts of the ranch - but the illegal immigrants are free to roam where ever they choose. ExxonMobil (XOM) and El Paso Corp (EP) do not have a single soul out here to patrol. They disk no fire breaks. They have no fire truck or even communication with the volunteer fire fighters or law enforcement. They drill all these wells and they leave it up to the landowner to control the situation. EP and XOM do not pay the ranch a penny in surface damages. They make about $8 million a month off the McGill Bros. lease. They take no responsibility for the situation they have created. Putting immigrants, law enforcement, the general public and the landowners in harm's way. Drilling 1000's of gas wells across Railroad Commission District 4 in the middle of a Mexican Cartel Turf war was a big mistake. This is the oilfield in South Texas. EP sees the guys marching by with machine guns from their Falcon Lake leases to the McGill Bros. They just carry on like it's not happening. It's like a baby Nigeria around here.

Contact all of your blog friends and offer them a free stay at the ranch and they can do all of your filming.
Hear Hear!! I agree with Anonymous! They would be in the same status as the illegals--just passing through.
